Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Fran Tapia @sofranksocial

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

So Frank – is managed by a team of three – we are passionate about sharing the Canberra region (Australia), and travel inspiration. Our feed is a mix of community photos and images we take when we are out and about.

The Canberra region includes – Canberra, out to the Snowy Mountains, the South Coast of Australia and regional areas including Young, Yass and Goulburn.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

We share what ever is happening – food, drinks, coffee, theatre, art galleries, festivals, hotels, landscapes (snow, beach, mountains), local produce.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It is a mix of your three names (Sophia, Fan and Kaet).

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

We use a mix of Photoshop, snapped, Foodie, and Instagram filters.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

We all manage our own accounts outside of So Frank – (@fran_t, @sophia_brady, @cider_teak).
We also like @Australia, @VisitCanberra, @laurenpbath – and we follow a lot of amazing local instagrammers.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Going away from what they normally do and emulating an Instagram account they like.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

We love sharing with our community – engaging with them, and sharing images that make them think – I want to do that, go there, try that.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

We add our own style to images, we want to ensure our community knows that it is authentic.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Original content is important to present your own perspective and view. We know that from having three people in the team we can all take different angles of the the one shot – the beauty of having three people is that we each have our own perspective, which means our feed is never the same.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

We like the connection, and getting to know the story behind the scenes – it is important for our authenticity.
