Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Felicia Mallari @bye.fxlicia

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I live in the Philippines. I’m only 14 years old when I created my Instagram account. I decided to improve it by following themes. Just last year, I started my own YouTube channel. I admit that it is still small, but to be honest, views and subscribers are just bonus. The feeling of doing what I love is indescribable, and that’s what matters most.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love music, especially RnB, pop, and hiphop. I also love talking about fashion, and YouTube. Whenever I see something aesthetic, I instantly click a picture of it and post it on my Instagram. I like posing for the camera as well; either showing off my clothes or showing off my makeup.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It is actually a funny story. I was just scrolling through my social media accounts, and I saw a meme about a girl named "Felicia", which is actually my name too! It was a guy calling the girl "Bye Felicia!", and when I searched it up, I discovered that it meant something else. So I thought, why not use it then?
I did it for fun at first, but I begun loving it and kept it then.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I used to use the VSCOCam app, but I changed my theme into a natural one so I am using the Airbrush app and the Instagram editing section. I would go to Airbrush to whiten the background of my photo and to the Instagram editing section to adjust the brightness and the warmth of my photo.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like the Instagram feed of @laurdiy, as well as the feed of @aliencreature. The Instagrammer that inspires me the most is @eleanorj92, she is a fashion blogger. I love her feed as much as her passion in fashion.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

They have to try partnering with Starngage!!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I get to discover new Instagrammers.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always do your best.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Original content is important because it shows your creativity, and I think it is better to be appreciated for something you made by yourself than for something you just stole from somewhere.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I get to try new things. It is always to try something new!
