Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Deanne Alipio @deannealipio

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a Tourism Management graduate who loves to travel and explore the world. I’m also an aspiring makeup artist and beauty blogger from the Philippines.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Beauty Products (usually cosmetics), must try food, beautiful scenery that I was able to capture during my tours. I find them all interesting and I usually post tons of photos so that my followers could also try out the products that I know is good and a must try and also they could also see a glimpse of the beautiful scenery I was able to visit.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s just my name, a personal photo album that I share to all my followers 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I only use my ipod touch 5th gen as a camera! I use snapseed application to edit the brightness, contrast, ambiance, structure and sharpness of the photo then I also use their selective edit so that I can improve the background of the product I am trying to feature or I can adjust some parts of the photo that needs to be adjusted.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really love Sofia Andres and Louise Delos Reyes! Their feed is really inspiring and even their promotional posts look simply stunning just like the rest of their photos. Their photography and editing skills is always on point.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Learn proper angle and they should know how to edit a photo without sacrificing the quality of the photos. A good feed is never too late to try 🙂

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being able to share the things that I wanted them to see and try. Sharing my thoughts, what I like, what I was able to try through photos and my followers appreciating my posts 🙂

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always provide realistic descriptions, sticking with their branding so a good branding is really important. Showing reviews of different bloggers from different demographics and nationality is also a good help to show their possible clients that “we are a real thing”! People nowadays always look for a review first throught the internet before purchasing a product so social networking sites is also a good help for running a campaign for you line/brand.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

People love good quality, they always go back to something that they know has a good quality. Originality draws the people to try them, to check them out. The more original you are, the more people you can draw for they are curious on what you are offering for they haven’t seen it from others.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Being able to try the products, then being able to share my experiences from it and convincing my friends and followers that they should try this out because it’s a real must try then being able to hear good feedbacks from my followers that they really love the product I suggested.
