Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Chloe Hayton @lola_andmum

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m 22 years old, recently married and a mother to one. We live in Leicester and I currently work as a Personal assistant and blog in my spare time. I love to write and hope to one day do it full time.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love to talk about parenting, sometimes its nice for me to open up to others about struggles that I face and other times its nice for other parents to realise that they are not alone and other people are going through the same thing. I also like to post ideas and reviews to help people decide on certain things like day trips, products to buy and clothing.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Lola is my daughters name and as always I’m just mum behind the scenes! She is my main inspiration for my page and blog.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Lightroom is a must have, through winter its been a life saver. I wasn’t getting home until dark so my pictures were horrendous, but lightroom saved me and brightened them up! Also Snapseed is a great editing app.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love @father_of_daughters I think Simon and his wife have a great humour but in a way that they show its real life and real issues.
@thedigigirls – everything about this Instagram page is perfect, everything is always so bright and clear it just draws you in.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Coco Peonys Chocolate treats – They are amazing!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love to share my ideas with people, and to hear feedback from others that they have loved something or thanked me for the recommendation is truly the best part.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always engage with participants

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

If your content isn’t of high quality and it isn’t original, people wont read it.
If they can read the same thing in better quality else where, they will.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Its nice to build up a relationship and to build up trust with a company to the extent where they want you to share your experience with their brand.
