Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Carol @carolpham

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Carol I am currently a digital content creator for ‘The Grid Line’ residing in Ontario, Canada. I have a background of project management and fashion styling. I am also learning into becoming a front end developer.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion, interior design, travel, beauty, healthy living. On instagram i post 50% fashion and 50% lifestyle. Lifestyle includes: design, travel, beauty etc..

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I started posted my daily outfits on Instagram and started gaining a lot of followers from it, so from then a dedicated my Instagram as a platform to share outfit inspirations.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I take most of my photos on my DSLR camera. I normally edit my photos using snapseed, facetune, and VSCO.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Marrianna Hewitt, Aimee Song, and Jenny Ong. They all inspire me because they all put lots of work curating their blogs.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Plan out your flow. Download an app like VSCO or something that previews what your grid will look like. It helps a lot when it comes to curating an account that has good flow.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part is that I have a voice to share great products and tips to people who are just like me.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think its important that the brand and the influencer both have the same values in mind. I only accept campaigns where I feel it represents me and is authentic to me.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality is very important. Its better to post less quality posts, rather than many poor quality post. The content you create should be based on how you feel it should be approach not how someone else had done it – thats what will makes your own content original.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love working with other people and whats great about working with brands is that you get to learn so much from them and you can truly feel the passion and hard wrk they put into their products.
