Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Camille Valera @kamildyoy

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi, I’m Camille. My friends call me Cams. I used to be a dance choreographer when I was in high school. I’m a foodie, sporty and adventurous type of person.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I find myself interested in discovering new foods, new fashion style and new songs. I mostly post pictures that can sum up my daily errands.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I just translated my name in Filipino because I want it to be simple and authentic.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually edit my photos with Snapseed and VSCO app. I want my photos to be slightly bright with kind of monochromatic tone. So I unveil he colors and brighten up my photos using Snapseed then when I’m satisfied I put some filters to it by using VSCO and from there I directly upload my edited photos to Instagram.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I always find Ida Anduyan as one of the amazing instagrammer in the Philippines.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

They should try to share every interesting things of their lives to their fellow instagrammers by inspiring each and everyone of us to do good things to our fellowmen.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I can share my thoughts and reviews freely for the benefit of my fellow instagrammers.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be unique, know how to market their brands in a very interesting way and always accept the positive and negative feedback from their clients or consumers. By accepting and using the negative feedback, we can make our brand into a better one.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Being on a quality and original brand can make your products standout. so be it! Don’t afraid to lock up your brand authentically.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Their success is also my success because we work not just a team but a family. I like collaborating with the people and brand I know because it helps me to grow as well.
