Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Britt Van Landeghem @thatgirlnamedbibi

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a 22 year old Belgian girl currently living in Portugal. I’ve moved up here after i got married to my husband, a professional football player. I have a bachelor in Hotelmanagement and own my own jewellery webshop.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am a big fan of make-up and fashion. I never used to wear lots of make-up but the last few months i’ve been experiencing more. I love to post pictures of my #ootd’s, my every-day-life and other things.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I recently changed my Instagram name, when i decided i wanted to start blogging and promoting brands. My actual name is Britt but to make it easy for everyone i use the name ‘Bibi’.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

My favourite photo editing app is Adobe Photoshop Express. It’s HEAVEN! You have too many options to edit your photos without paying even € 1.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I’m a big fan of this German girl, @fashioneimi. Her pictures really inspired me to do what i’m doing now.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

This Belgian brand, called ‘TOPWIJF’. They have really cool t-shirts and sweaters for women.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

That you can help other brands to get more known. As a webshop owner I know the importance of having other people promote your brand.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Try to attract your potential influencers. Make sure we know what exactly it is about.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Try to be yourself in the pictures you take. Be your original self. Don’t try to copy the work from others because it will not help you anyway.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The fact that you can try out their products for the first time and sharing your experience with the whole world. If you really fall in love with the brand, you’ll probably even consider to buy their products in the future.
