1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Belen, 24 years old. Born in Ecuador and moved to the USA when I was 11. Currently, I work full-time as an acoount manager for a marketing company in Miami and I blog at nights & weekend. I live with my parents and have a beautiful golden lab and boyfriend 🙂

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m very interested in the topic of women in power. I love to work and consider myself a career woman. I instagram about my work-life and how I try to achieve work-life balnace. You will see fashion posts, health & fitness and career advice for young professional women

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I was trying to figure out how my blog should be called… I didn’t want it to be just about fashion as the topic of work-life balance is something I face in my life everyday… so I was in the kitchen with my siblings and said, I like the name “A Hint” but I didn’t know a hint of what. I wanted to give my readers a bit of light in their day to day so from one word to another, my brother said “life!” so, a hint of life came to life.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

VSCO! I basically just use one app for my editing. I use the filter A6 in almost all the pictures, add a little of exposure for more brightness, a little contrast to make the colors richer and a touch of tint for a pink fellow

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I looove emily schuman, chiara ferragni and songofstyle! I love the balanced life emily schuman seems to have and how everything seems to be picture perfect. I love how chiara ferragni literally never stops and portrays that in her pictures… you can see her passion for what she does. And finally I love how sweet and caring and of course, stylish Aimee is.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Sharing tips and inspiring people in their day to day life. I love posting a picture of a blog post and getting responses of my readers, knowing that I helped someone else out, or that I made their day a little better. It’s a good feeling to have in your heart because I always wanted to have a “foundation” for helping others in need… and although this hasn’t happened yet, as an influencer I’m starting this journey.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think one of the best tips to give to brands running campaigns, is to not go by the huge following numbers but to really take a look at their pages, at their content to see if a certain influencer makes sense for their brand. I only work with brands I use, or believe in. It’s nice being able to make a living being an influencer but I never want to lose my word.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It’s crucial!!! I love making my own captions for gifted items because I separate myself from the rest of the influencers running the same campaign. When you see 3 influencers with the same caption and similar pictures, you know it wasn’t original and it loses value

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Sharing my experiences and being a spokesperson for a brand I believe in; I don’t think there’s better advertising than using people that actually love your products. I love the creativity that sparks when creating a campaign.
