Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Anna Smolander @toocreativeart

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

We are a creative duo, known as TooCreative. We are two artists from England, and we create original pieces of artwork in pencil, watercolour or ink, as well as doing digital artwork. We have been working together for just over two years now!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

We create a lot of portraits, whether it is of models or stars of music and fashion. I personally love drawing hair and hair styles and creating fashion illustrations.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

We first thought of a name for us two, then the Instagram name followed. TwoCreative doesn’t sound right now does it, but TooCreative artists fit perfectly! Sometimes it’s too late nights, and too hard work but I love creating contest & art is a passion.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

If it is a progress picture or a finished artwork picture, we only tend to edit on Instagram (brightness & contrast & all). If I do digital art I use a lot of apps together.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love following our favourite models, such as Coco Rocha and Gigi Hadid & Cara of course. I also follow and get inspired by Dannii Minogue and Kylie Minogue.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

What can I say? Go and get 100Degrees record with our art on the cover!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Am I an influencer? Not sure. I sure would like to be one. I know that our 100 Degrees record cover artwork has influenced and inspired a lot of fellow artists. It is our proudest moment to see our art in record stores. So grateful to Dannii and Kylie Minogue.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

You have to create something new to keep your insta looking fresh. Mix artwork with photos and keep the content interesting. Don’t be scared to try something new, your audience will tell you if they like it or not!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It is the most important thing now! You have to have your style and stick to it. All the tools are there you just got to use them!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I’m looking forward to partnering with brands. Haven’t done it as of yet.
