1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m an architecture student in Los Angeles but I’m originally from Singapore. Eventually I will return to my hometown when I’m done but for now, singapore is where I spend my holidays.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Food, fashion, fitness, architecture. Basically everything related to lifestyle

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s a short version of my full name Amanda Gunawan

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Tsujiri!!!! I’m obsessed and have been free advertising all over Instagram and snapchat for them.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love sharing good products in general. Even before the existence of social media I was always texting my friends and family members whenever I uncover something new and amazing. If it’s food, I sometimes just buy it for them. The first time I discovered lady M, I had to let my friend who was a cake addict try it so I drove all the way to her house to drop it off. She was touched of course but my boyfriend did not understand my actions at all. I just really like basking in good things with my friends!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I maintain authenticity by always infusing a little bit of my style and essence into my photos. When promoting a particular product, I make sure the shots are coerced and a great frame in general. I also make sure that the product is styled in a way that I do justice to the products, because that’s so important!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

SO important, if not, why would your followers trust you or choose to follow you if you’re simply taking content from someone else or pretending to be someone else?

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I really like partnering with brands that have amazing products but do not have the means to advertise. Or simply don’t know how. In fact, these are usually the brands I partner with and I take no money from them at all. I love people who are passionate about what they do. People who, on top of their 8-5 job, start a cake business on the side because of true passion for baking. It’s admirable and if it’s good stuff then it should be out there! Sometimes these people don’t know how and I love being the one to help.
