Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Alyssa Ceniceros @alyssacmakeup

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! My name is Alyssa Ceniceros! I am currently trying to pursue a career as a Makeup Artist. I am self taught and just trying to show people my art! I am from Modesto, CA and I just recently moved to Oceanside, CA!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest are mostly makeup and beauty. I post mostly about my makeup and work I have done! I have some fashion accounts that I follow but I’m mostly all about makeup!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name came about by just combining my name and my passion. AlyssaCMakeup just represents something about me before clicking on my profile!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

So some apps I use to edit my photos are FaceTune and AirBrush! Before I had FaceTune I would use AirBrush a TON! They have a ton of great features such as hiding blemishes and smoothing your face! But FaceTune has just a bit more of an UMPH to it! 🙂

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jeffree Star, Nickie Tutorials, and just some other girls that aren’t very well known! But I just love everyone’s work it’s so hard to choose!!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

The one thing (two ;))my followers need to try are the Modern Renaissance Palette from Anasatasia Beverly Hills and Glitters from Glitter My World! My absolute FAVES right now!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part about being an influencer is getting to share my makeup work with others and letting others learn a bit more about makeup! It’s amazing to know that people are actually learning from me.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I believe the best way to really get out there is to just be yourself. Don’t try to impress. Enjoy what you love the most and if people love it that’s awesome!!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I believe it’s very important to stick with your own work! Trying to mimick a look is completely okay! Just give them credit! It also makes you get better by trying to copy looks! Just don’t mark it as your own! And don’t be afraid to go out of your comfort zone!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I personally have never partnered with a brand before! It has always been a dream of mine to partner with amazing brands! So hopefully I will get the opportunity some day!
