1)Tell us a little about this photo?
I took this beautiful architecture building so that i can look back at this photo to have a memory of it’s existence. This photo was taken at The Rochor Centre before it was demolished. It is located near the Bugis MRT Station, just outside the Central Business District. There are a total of 4 blocks and it is hard not to notice as it is distinctive for its brightly coloured facades. It is coloured differing shades of blue, yellow, red and green. It was originally home to 567 households based in its 4 residential blocks as well as 183 shops and offices located in a separate, but equally colourful 3 storey block. It started off in white/grey colour until all the blocks underwent a refurbishment in the early 1990’s, when they were given their now familiar colourful makeover.
2)A catchy title for this photo?
Goodbye Rochor Centre
