1) Have you always been a foodie? Which area do you like best? Do you treat food as one of the artistic areas to practice your photography skills?
Before becoming a photographer I was a chef for five years and have always kept an interest in food and food photography. I assisted a couple of food photographers, Ken Christie & Simon Butcher, before heading out on my own path! I tend to shoot most of my food shots with a mix of flash and natural light contrasting on the realness of the food without too much perfection! In a good way of course!
2) What makes a good food photo? What’s the most important detail for taking a good Instagram photo?
A great food shot first catches your eye through colours, patterns and composition then perks up your taste buds through texture and lighting. The best ones make you go on and do something about your interest! You either eat the cake or decide to live a healthier life by trying something new, or at least think about doing so!
3) Finally, share with our readers one of the must-visit eating places in your country/city, and why?
The Fat Duck, Heston Blumenthal’s restaurant in Bray, ?Hertfordshire must be one of the most spectacular restaurants to go to and this tasting menu, although over a hundred pounds is worth every penny. The way its is cooked and presented makes your mouth salivate to the max and takes about two hours of exquisite pleasure to get through. mmmmmmm!
