1) Tell us a little about this photo?
This was a photo from the marketing campaign designed around my old band The Bigger Lights’s debut LP on Doghouse Records/Warner Music Group. It was shot in New York City and built around the band’s natural fashion. We loved neutral tones (grays, blacks, and whites) coupled with one or two bright splashes of color (the maroon jacket). The jacket itself was a steal that I found thrift shopping in LA between tours. The photo has been used on blogs, in publications, and marketing campaigns for the band over the years.
